Two new The Last Remnant magazine scans, taken from Famitsu have surfaced on the internet.

The magazine scans contain information speculating that The Last Remnant is heading for a 20^th November release on the PlayStation 3; the exact same date that the title is planned to be released on the Xbox 360. At the moment this is just a rumour, and could well stay that way; especially considering that Square Enix said that The Last Remnant will be a time release exclusive to the Xbox 360 console - let’s keep our fingers crossed though.

It’s definitely worth checking out the scans, as they contain new images such as official artwork and screenshots.

A new teaser trailer for the upcoming Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title, The Last Remnant has surfaced on the internet. The new teaser trailer contains footage that’s apparently from The Last Remnant’s opening FMV sequence.

The Last Remnant is set for a November release on Xbox 360, whilst the PlayStation 3 release date is still to be confirmed.

As of earlier today, Square Enix have begun broadcasting commercials for two of their most anticipated Xbox 360 RPG’s; Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope and The Last Remnant. When I say that their broadcasting commercials for Xbox 360 games, I mean Xbox 360 games - unfortunately Square Enix have still given no word on whether or not Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope will come to the PlayStation 3, nor have they commented on the PlayStation 3’s The Last Remnant’s release date.

Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope’s release date is still to be announced, however we now know that The Last Remnant will be coming to North American Xbox 360 owners on the 20^th November 2008.

A while back, Square Enix closed their Japanese website for The Last Remnant, in part due to the Microsoft JRPG Confrence a couple weeks ago. Now, its reopened. The website features a prologue, characters, battle system, a trailers and a screenshots page. If you recall, The Last Remnant features a battle system known as the “turn-burst command battle system,” where there are no random encounters. Battles are engaged using symbol encounters and commands are inputed and then the actions take place in a battle phase with the enemy army - Remincisent of gameplay inputs like Final Fantasy.

The Last Remnant is a time-released XBOX 360 exclusive, and will release on the XBOX 360 before it releases on the PLAYSTATION 3 and is slated for a simulatenous worldwide-release in Winter 2008.

Today Famitsu released 32 new The Last Remnant images, some of them are taken from the latest trailer however a fair few of the images are brand new and have never been seen before - as well as screenshots, Famitsu released some new The Last Remnant official artwork. Read more to view the images.
