Final Fantasy X-2-2
After seeing the ending to Final Fantasy X-2 you needed a sequel right? Well this was Square Enix's first attempt at a sequal to a Final Fantasy game - and just a test to see the reaction from fans reallly.
Because of this and many aspects of the gameplay fans tend to dislike this game, although I personally think that just because it doesn't come anywhere close to the glory of Final Fantasy X-2, that doesn't make it a bad game.
The reason many fans dislike the game is because you take on the role of three women, Yuna, Rikku and the new character, Paine. This came as a shock to many people, but with the the new Dressphere System having girls as the main characters worked out a lot better than having some of the other characters taking the lead role.
The battle system was pretty good in this game, it was a lot faster than Final Fantasy X-2's and the new Dressphere System allowed you to quickly change your 'job' during a battle. This meant you could turn battles around by turning into a White Mage from a Gunner and healing all your characters. The Sphere Grid has been gotten rid of in FFX-2 and replaced with standard leveling, along side standard leveling you also level up your Dresspheres to make each Job more powerful.
Even though the storyline does let this game down a little, it's still not the bad game it's made out to be. Overall I'd say it's a solid FF game and deffinately worth parting with your money for.
7/10
