From what we have seen it will be set in a much darker and gloomier world than Final Fantasy XIII. It's battle system will also be different from that of Final Fantasy XIII's, it will be a lot more fast paced. Does this mean we can expect something similar to the likes of the Drakengard series, gameplay wise?
As for story details all we know is that the main character is from the Royal Family, therefore it is his duty to protect the crystals.
