Amarant is a strange character, he was originally with Lani but left after she cheated by taking Eiko as a hostage to get the Falcon's Claw.
He then challenged Zidane to a fight, in which Zidane won. Now the Flaming Amarant owes Zidane a favour after Zidane refused to kill him and finish him off.
He despises immaturity and Zidane's love for Dagger but manages to keep his cool throughout the journey!
