Final Fantasy Rebirth » Final Fantasy IX » Boss Guide Disk 4
Nova Dragon has around 45,000 HP, he's pretty easy to beat though. Have Zidane, Quina, Vivi and Dagger in your party (I know we have to ditch Steiner for this one); have Quina use Night on the Nova Dragon. Since Magic attacks don't wake it up just have Vivi use Blizzaga and Dagger summon Shiva, have Zidane use steal so you can get some rare items from it. If it wakes up, then have Quina use Night and repeat the process!
Maliris
Maliris is the strongest boss so far with 60,000 HP. It is the God of Fire, so use any ice attacks (Blizzaga, Shiva) on it to deal out some major damage. It will also cast reflect on itself. If so have Dagger do the same to Vivi, and cast Black Magic spells on Vivi to reflect them back to Maliris!
If you get low on health just heal with Dagger's Cure or Curaga!
Taimat
Has around the same amount of HP as the previous boss, this boss has the deadly Twister attack. It almost wiped out my entire party, so be careful.
Keep attacking with everything you've got, it's weak against Ice so Blizzaga and Shiva are good ideas.
Later on in the battle it will blow your characters out of the battle, make sure that doesn't happen as you won't gain the AP afterwards! If you get low on health again, use Dagger's Curaga!
