Boss Guide
Millenia
Difficulty: *
Max HP: ????
The first real boss of the game, if you can call her that - Millenia has ???? HP, so that translates to, she's invincible. You can't win this one, as soon as she uses Zap, which is about her third or fourth move it will cut out into a cut scene. Hope that wasn't too difficult for you!
Triple Troglodytes
Difficulty: **
Max HP: 980 Each
These three mutated frogs jump out on you, but still shouldn't cause you a problem.
Millenia's Fallen Wings pretty much sorts them out doing over 500 to all three, and Ryudo's Tenseinken Slash should finish them all off along with Millenia's Combo.
Duram Minotaur
Difficulty: ****
Max HP: 4200
This boss is quite difficult, as it has two Troglodytes along with it.
Again use Fallen Wings and Tenseinken Slash to finish those off quickly. Using Roan's Golden Hammer is very useful for cancelling the Duram Minotaur's attacks to, so do that as often as you can.
So that keeps you out of trouble for the first part, when the Duram Minotaur uses Tornado Horn it will confuse and heavily damage a member of the party, I suggest you heal anyone who is bellow 250 HP because one of your confused party members is bound to end up attacking another party member.
Carry on using the Moves/Magic command as everyone and you should be dealing major damage now! Once you run out of SP then I suggest using Combo's or Critical's and that should see you through.
And remember to heal anyone who gets low on health!
Beast-Man (Mareg)
Difficulty: **
Max HP: 4800
Your first encounter with Mareg, the Beast-Man. He has 4800 HP yet despite that is a pretty easy boss.
Using Moves such as Tenseinken Slash, Impact Bomb and Golden Hammer are a really really good idea in this battle. As it will Cancel any of Mareg's attacks. Once you've run out of SP as everyone I suggest moving onto Magic, using moves such as Burn, Zap, Howl, and Cure (when needed). You should be dealing between 250-500 damage as each character by now when using Moves/Magic.
Mareg always attacks Ryudo, for reasons I won't say because I don't want to spoil the plot! xD But you'll find out after this battle anyway. Good Luck!
Tongue of Valmar
Difficulty: ***
Max HP: Tongue of Valmar: 8000, Head: 5000, Left Leg: 4000
To beat this boss just go all out attack and don't stop. This means using Magic such as Burnflame, Zap and Howlslash. Also using Moves such as Flying Tenseinken and Golden Hammer to Cancel the Tongue of Valmar's attacks is a very good idea as it will delay attacks and delay you having to heal.
If you get below 200 HP as anyone I strongly suggest you heal, but this is highly unlikely.
You only have to destroy the Tongue to win but destroying the other parts gets you extra items, so it's a good idea. Moves such as Fallen Wings and Magic such as Zap! are a good idea for multiple attacks!
And at that you should cruise through this battle.
Eyeball Bats
Difficulty: ****
Max HP: 4000 Each
Well there are 4 of them, each with 4000 HP, so it's better to use multiple attacks such as Howlslash and Tremor with the Mist/Holy Eggs and Burnstrike with the Chaos Egg. Use Burnstrike on the weaker enemies so you can get them out of the way quickly as the more there is the harder the battle.
Mareg's Beast-King Blast is good for this battle, as it damages all around Mareg. Meaning this works brilliantly with the Burnstrike technique!
It's more likely that the majority of your party gets injured, if so use Elena's Move - Droplet's of Life, if not then just use her Impact Bomb to target the weaker enemies. I suggest only using Impact Bomb near the end of the battle as you never know when you'll need desperate healing!
Valmar's Eye
Difficulty: *****
Max HP: ????
During this boss fight you only have to destroy Valmar's actual Eye. But I stronly suggest you kill at least one of the four Eyeball Bats, as long as there is less than three they can't perform Delta Attack! The easiest way to lower every enemies HP is to just use Fallen Wings at the start of the battle!
Before the fight I suggest you equip some items that protect you from sleep, then at least you don't fall asleep! Also power up the Holy Egg so you can use better Healing moves.
After defeating at least one eyeball bat, either finish the others off (I highly recommend this) or go all out on the boss.
Either way you'll need to heal lots throughout this battle, so take lot's of Wound Salve's and Yomi's Elixer's. Then heal everytime someone gets below 300/350 HP.
Special moves such as Flying Tenseinken and Arrow shot should be doing well over 1000 damage by now so they are really useful!
