Storyline
The Battle between Good and Evil
Long ago the world was blessed by a light, the world worshipped a god called Granas. But when people began to resist Granas they found evil, a new god known as Valmar. Thus starting a war, the Battle between Good and Evil. Granas used his sword, The Granasaber and cut down Valmar straight into the land. The mark of the Battle between Good and Evil still remains, the Granacliffs, a huge scar cut deep into the land.
Grandia II Prologue
The game begins with a Geohound, going by the name of Ryudo. He travels the world doing jobs for Gold. One day he winds up doing a job for a Church of Granas.
The job is to guard a girl named Elena, he travels with her to Garmia Tower to perform a ritual, but is told to wait outside. When he hear's a scream he rushes inside to see Elena englufed in a darkness - a darkness that brings up old memories, that Ryudo does not want to remember.
After the Father hear's of all the deaths at the tower he asks Ryudo to guard Elena once more, yet this time much further - to Granas Cathedral!
As Ryudo and friends travel through the world they discover more about the darkness, Valmar the devil forming in the world - and Ryudo's tale might just end up as more than he bargained for!
