Zack

Not much is known about Zack, although he is the hero of this tale. He is the second best in SOLDIER and has a number two tatooed on his arm, he was once Sephiroth's closest and only friend; because Sephiroth saw him as some almost equal to him in ability.
Zack was also implanted with Jenova cells to make himself stronger, he has dark/purple/black hair and has a huge sword called the Buster Sword.
Throughout the OVA he protects Cloud and takes on Sephiroth in an epic battle.
