Hey everyone,

So you’ve just read the title, and now you’re thinking “How does that work?”, “New” and “Jump Festa 2007” in the same sentence? Well actually, it does. The following trailer was shown at the Jump Festa 2007 event in Japan, inside Square Enix’s closed Mega Theatre; and because of this it’s actually the first time the general public have laid eyes on the trailer.

Unfortunately the trailer doesn’t have sound, instead it’s replaced with the final boss battle theme from Mistwalker’s Lost Odyssey for Xbox 360. That doesn’t really matter though, as it’s actually pretty good quality considering it was filmed with a camera. The leaked Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer, as usual is 100% CGI, giving us no clues as to what the game play or even the battle system looks like.
