Hey everyone,
Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto was once again caught saying that the Fabula Nova Crystallis series will keep pumping games out for at least another decade in a recent interview. This much has already been said, unfortunately he said that Japan won’t be seeing any Final Fantasy XIII titles on PS3 until after March 2008, so all you North American Final Fantasy fans will have to wait another year until the next installment in the series.
Though looking on the bright side of life, it’s better for Square Enix to take longer making a better game. I mean let’s face it - we don’t want 10 years of rubbish, incomplete Final Fantasy games do we?

Hey everyone,
Today several new magazine scans have surfaced on the internet, two featuring Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates and two featuring Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Unfortunately neither the Ring of Fates or Dissidia scans show any new information, however they do have some new screenshots that are worth checking out!
Also a couple of new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers scans have surfaced on the internet, showing an unmasked version of the game’s leading hero! The Crystal Bearers’ hero, who is currently unnamed will have super powers from the begin of The Crystal Bearers, unlike most previous Final Fantasy games were you begin with a rather weak character. To me the characters looks like Cloud Strife (Advent Children style) wearing Squall’s jacket, though maybe that’s just me!

Hey everyone,
Today Famitsu released the first image taken from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, the picture shows what is currently thought to be the hero of the game. We don’t know much about this character though it would appear that he has some kind of ‘Super Powers‘ from the start of The Crystal Bearers!
Secondly we have three new magazine scans regarding Dissidia: Final Fantasy, the scans themselves don’t really reveal any new information. Though they do show some nice artwork of Garland, Kuja, Warrior of Light and Zidane as well as some new screenshots.
And last but not least, a new scan featuring some The Last Remnant artwork and three new screenshots. Gotta this the graphics on this game look outstanding, definitely going to be a highlight of 2008!

Hey everyone,
The above trailer, courtesy of Jeux France shows some footage from Final Fantasy Tactics A2: The Forgotten Grimoire. The trailer doesn’t reveal anything new to a major extent, however it does put a lot of screenshots in motion and shows us how the game will play. From the trailer we can see the game will play very similar to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on the GBA, though I can imagine that in a game like FFTA2 the Nintendo DS’ touch screen will be put to full use.
In other news, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War will be debuting in North America this October and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings later in the Winter. This year is certainly going to be a good year for the Ivalice Alliance!

Hey everyone,
Not the most interesting update of all time, but I thought I’d post it anyway. A new Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Japanese magazine scan has surfaced on the internet, the scan doesn’t hold any information but it does contain some new, good quality screenshots from Crisis Core.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII has also been rescheduled for a 13th September 2007 release in Japan, and could be bundled as part of an exclusive PSP 20th Anniversary package, though this hasn’t yet been confirmed.
